Introducing the Delport family

We’re so excited that the 24-7 Ibiza team will be expanding yet again with the addition of the Delport family who are set to arrive on the island in summer 2017.

For the last 8 years Maleni and Quin have called St Mark's Battersea Rise their spiritual home.  Back in 2009 they took on staff roles at St Mark's simultaneously while they were still dating - accepting youth pastor and worship pastor roles respectively.  They since married and had 3 children; Lola, Finley and Maxwell.

Prior to calling London home Maleni was on the team at St Saviour's Church in Guildford where she was a youth worker.  Maleni was born and grew up in Madrid, Spain where she trained to be a primary school teacher. Her introduction to England however was at the Lee Abbey Christian Conference Centre where she lived and worked in community and learned English.

Quin moved to England in 2002 from his home in South Africa on invitation to join the team at The Message Trust in Manchester.  His time there only reinforced his passion for music and the Gospel and after 5 years up North he moved to Guildford where he met Dave and Liz Slinn and joined up with the 24-7 Boiler Room.

There is never a dull moment with Lola and the twins, Max and Finn - three very high energy and friendly little people. The Delport's favourite activity is to be around the table sharing food with old friends and new.

Quin and Maleni are such an amazing couple, and we’re honoured to have them on the team - their kids are also a joy to have around too.  We’re are so excited they are joining in with what God is doing in Ibiza and we can't wait till they're settled in and getting stuck in with the work of prayer, mission and justice on the White Island with the amazing 24-7 Ibiza team.
